Wow, so it's been a minute since I last blogged, and that's fine. I have been enjoying the last of my under-graduate experience at BYU this semester. Yeah, you're probably saying "Wait, didn't you graduate?" ...or maybe you're not, and that's totally OK too. So basically I had 1 requirement for my Spanish major to complete, and the class that I really wanted to take was only offered in the Fall. So here I am, still taking classes, and living my life.
A few updates...
1. I love Key-Lime pie.
I did not know I would have such a thing for it, but I definitely am REALLY into it.
2. You get a lot of free stuff when you're debit card is broken.
For some reason my new debit card has been struggling ever since I got it. This has resulted in getting a lot of free items like drinks, gum, even beef jerky! I'm sorta sad that my new fully-functioning card gets here soon. Boo.
3. There is a Farmers Market in Provo.
So there is something called a Farmers Market. Every Thursday, in the parking lot of the stadium I go there and it makes me feel so happy! I wish there were more Italians there selling sun-dried tomatoes and foccacia...but this will do. It sort of makes me feel a bit closer to Italy in a weird way, so I like it!
4. There is a new stake in Italy!!!!!!
The Milan Italy East stake was formed last Sunday, from a division of the Milan Italy Stake. There are now 8 stakes in Italy! I am so SO happy to see that more and more of God's children in Italy are coming to know and follow Christ by being baptized into His church.
5. This is my last full week as a teacher at the MTC.
It is time to move on, but not forget. I have been so blessed to have been able to work as a teacher for the past year of my life at the MTC. I know that the Lord has provided me with experiences that truly have changed me for the better and will allow me to go forward and be a better person.
6. I get my braces off in 2 weeks.
This is some very awesome news that I'm pretty stoked about. The journey of having braces as an adult. Oh yes, it's been a beautiful thing...have to shout out to the ones who keep me in check and are making sure I wear my rubber bands at nite n' stuff. Thanks guys!
7. I'm 2-4, 24.
There isn't a ton to expound on this one. I had a birthday, and it was pretty normal, and yeah, I'm starting to feel more like a big kid now :D Just with braces....
