Angels

Today I was reminded that God knows each of us individually. He never leaves us alone, and even though He has billions of children, who deal with billions of problems, I can say with certainty that I am important to Him. There have been few times that I have doubted how close God is to me, but without fail, every time I do- He gives me sweet reminders that He hasn't forgotten about me. I feel that God often sends these tender mercies through people placed in our path. Often times these people come in and out of our lives quickly, others become long-time associations. Whatever the case may be, I know that life is about forming relationships with people, and learning from those people. Today, I have thought of many people who have significantly changed my life for the better. These people are all friends of mine who I feel like taught me things about life and helped me to see what truly matters.

Wow, to those who look at these pictures these are just faces--but to me these people are angels God sent to me to teach me certain lessons. They each taught me something different, and I think these people all helped me to feel God's love a little bit more. One of the ways I feel God's love for me is through the relationships he allows me to have. I would hope that I always express sufficient gratitude to God for the privilege it is to learn from all different types of people. I would also hope that I communicate to others what they mean to me and that I value them as a person. God truly is so kind to me, and I am blessed to have known all of these people.

catch up...

Wow, so it's been a minute since I last blogged, and that's fine. I have been enjoying the last of my under-graduate experience at BYU this semester. Yeah, you're probably saying "Wait, didn't you graduate?" ...or maybe you're not, and that's totally OK too. So basically I had 1 requirement for my Spanish major to complete, and the class that I really wanted to take was only offered in the Fall. So here I am, still taking classes, and living my life.

A few updates...

1. I love Key-Lime pie.
I did not know I would have such a thing for it, but I definitely am REALLY into it.

2. You get a lot of free stuff when you're debit card is broken.
For some reason my new debit card has been struggling ever since I got it.  This has resulted in getting a lot of free items like drinks, gum, even beef jerky! I'm sorta sad that my new fully-functioning card gets here soon. Boo.

3. There is a Farmers Market in Provo
So there is something called a Farmers Market. Every Thursday, in the parking lot of the stadium I go there and it makes me feel so happy! I wish there were more Italians there selling sun-dried tomatoes and foccacia...but this will do. It sort of makes me feel a bit closer to Italy in a weird way, so I like it!

4. There is a new stake in Italy!!!!!!
The Milan Italy East stake was formed last Sunday, from a division of the Milan Italy Stake. There are now 8 stakes in Italy! I am so SO happy to see that more and more of God's children in Italy are coming to know and follow Christ by being baptized into His church.

5.  This is my last full week as a teacher at the MTC.
It is time to move on, but not forget. I have been so blessed to have been able to work as a teacher for the past year of my life at the MTC. I know that the Lord has provided me with experiences that truly have changed me for the better and will allow me to go forward and be a better person.

6. I get my braces off in 2 weeks
This is some very awesome news that I'm pretty stoked about. The journey of having braces as an adult. Oh yes, it's been a beautiful thing...have to shout out to the ones who keep me in check and are making sure I wear my rubber bands at nite n' stuff. Thanks guys!

7. I'm 2-4, 24
There isn't a ton to expound on this one. I had a birthday, and it was pretty normal, and yeah, I'm starting to feel more like a big kid now :D Just with braces....

impulsive.

Why am I so impulsive sometimes?  I dyed my hair this week. It's not the best decision I've ever made. More details to come. Maybe a photo. WHY DO GIRLS MAKE BRASH DECISIONS SOMETIMES!?!???!
