Oh hieee blog friends. It really does make me sad that I have been MIA in the blogsphere lately! Anyways, here are a few things for you to nibble on... ps. Pics will come soon. Pinky promise...
FIRSTS:
- Went to The Chocolate (fabulous)...ate a Cazookie.... yumsauce.
- Was set-up on a date by one of my BYU professors
- Went on 1st date on the day of love (Valday...)
- Sat on a whoopie cushion (a charitable act by the missionaries in my District)
- Laughed out-loud in a meeting at work when someone farted. (literally could NOT contain myself, and felt like I was 7 yrs old...)
- Went to a Real game at the new Rio Tinto Stadium in SLC
SCHOOL:
- On the road to graduation, and the end is in sight!! I will most likely graduate this coming August.
-I applied for an internship with the BYU Writing Fellows. Acceptance is still pending.
WORK:
- Right now I have an AMAZING district. They leave on April 17th for Milan and Rome Italy. I'm better every day because of them!!!
- David Archuleta is at the MTC. I work at the MTC. I am probably the most immature female teacher at the MTC. I got mauled by the MTC police when a fellow co-worker and I (he is of the male species...) tried to see him in his classroom hahaha! I am officially a rebelious and synical MTC teacher. So fire me! no jk, but seriously! ARCHI is going to be a great missionary in Chile! All I can say is he would have been even BETTER, had I been able to slip him my address under the door... Dang those MTC teachers assigned to be bouncers outside his classroom!!! I will find a way to meet him in these next 6 weeks...PS. I just watched a video I took of Archi at Stadium of Fire last summer singing "Crush" and it literally had my crying! Haha I have no idea why?! I thin it has something to do with seeing him today on TV at general conference, singing "Praise to the Man" as a called servant of God. I love seeing people choose to do the right thing, even when they have so much going for them in other areas of their lives!
- A love note was left for me on missionary agenda paper under the windshield of my car. The name and phone number of the author of the note was written.... I was also told "I think you're cute!"This made my day, and made me want to give the kid a chance just for his guts.
APPS I've downloaded: : scale of 1-5 *'s
-Draw Something (*****) This is totally my new time killing activity. It's great for while your on the elyyptical, or laying in bed at night wanting to get your mind off things)
- Scramble (**) Maybe it's because I'm just not good at this game, but it's lame. And I'm not even a gamer.
- Emoji (****) I had always thought people were so cool and savvy when they would put those little icons in their text messages...Now whats up? I got em. Emoji. Probably the best thing that has happened to me since I spent 1$ on the T-Pain app. I no longer ever want to text using words haha I am in love with these little guys, and I know that the recipients of my text messages love them too :)
MOVIES I've seen:
- I saw the Hunger Games... I absolutely LOVED it. AMAZING. I have to say that when I read the book I was all about Gale. He was my main man. In the movie though, I was all about Peeta!!!!! I loved his swagger. He was totally into Katniss, and there was just something about that dang Peeta. Hott dang Peeta.
- I saw the 3rd Twilight movie. Breaking Dawn. It was the biggest waste of my life, in my life.
- Speaking of Twilight, and strange plots....I also saw Abduction. I can't even remember the plot of this movie. I guess that means it was below average...
You'll have to let me know if you see david!!! That is so funny!
